Business Component System
نویسنده
چکیده
In a component-based development approach some kind of middleware technology is used to integrate pieces of software to complex systems. These pieces of software could be implemented in different programming languages and might run on different platforms. The goal of component-based development is to increase productivity by reusing existing or newly written pieces of software. Beside the middleware technology architecture is a further ingredient that is needed to successfully implement component-based development. The Business Component System pattern shows an architecture that could be used for component-based development in a commercial environment to build Business Components and to reuse them in different applications. Example Lets take as an example a credit system that is used in a bank. This credit system is used to create offers for new credits, close existing credits, calculate rates, ... . In this credit system there is a subsystem that manages all the customers currently known to the system, another subsystem handles all the credit contracts and a third subsystem is responsible for all the banking accounts related to the credits. These subsystems are used by different applications. One application supports the clerk in the front office in creating credit offers, another one is used in the back office for administrative purposes and a third one is a background job that calculates the monthly rates each customer has to pay. The following high-level class diagram gives an overview of the sample scenario. Tranche Frontoffice Application Backoffice Application Batch Job

The...
